The Embassy of the Order of Malta to Thailand, represented by Counsellor and Charge d’Affaires a.i. Dr Jean-Pierre Verbiest, attended the 2nd Thailand Climate Action Conference on 6 and 7 October 2023.

The conference was opened by the Prime Minister of Thailand H.E. Srettha Thavisin, and by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources and Environment H.E. Phatcharavat Wongsuwon.

The conference, held in preparation of the December 2023 Dubai World Climate Summit, was a unique opportunity to learn about Thailand policies addressing climate change, and to interact with high level representatives of the Thai Government and representatives of the Thai private sector.
